TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION AND SINGLE VEHICLE  APPROVAL
The A M EX2 and IMOLA are  the result of years of development by two sports car enthusiasts along
with a number of Professional Technical Specialists in various aspects of Car Design with the aim of
creating a stunning and useable Sportscar capable  of being used daily in everyday life with the minimum of restrictions or compromises usually associated with this type of Vehicle and with Reasonable Ease of  Assembly.

The car utilises a semi - backbone / spaceframe  chassis with double - wishbone suspension all

adjustable for ride - height and damping.
The cars have disc brakes all round and currently run on 15" alloys but the new format chassis
will specify much larger tyres.

The engine is currently the Vauxhall / Opel 2 litre 8 and 16 valve F20 unit but again this will
be different with the new car initially offering the the four cylinder Ford Zetec unit and later
offering a range of other options.

The current car weighs in at 860 kgs wet but again the new car will come in at around 140kgs less
(specifically the open top track - day version)
The cooling radiator is front mounted with an electric fan, also up front is room to accomodate a space saver spare tyre along with a sizeable rear boot aft of the engine compartment.  The doors , bonnet and boot are all locking panels and the doors have kite - marked drop glasses.

The car has designed - in crumple zones front and rear , a protected passenger compartment and a centrally - located  and protected fuel tank, Roll over protection and a collapsible steering column are also designed in  along with a modern instrument binacle and other dash features.
